🎉 We’re in a Book! 📚✨
New Year, new adventure – Ella and Samuel in Addis Ababa
Hi everyone! 👋
It’s us — Ella and Samuel!
Guess what? We’re in our very first book! 🎊
It’s called New Year, New Adventure, and it’s all about the time Samuel came to visit me (Ella!) in Addis Ababa for the Ethiopian New Year — Enkutatash! 🌼
We went on a treasure hunt through the city, from the colorful Merkato to the green and sunny Friendship Park. There were clues, surprises, and lots of laughter — and now you can read it all in our book!
📘 So… where can you find our story?
Well, we’ve been busy — like really busy! 🐝
Our book is now available around the world, and even in different languages (because we like to talk… a lot! 😉).
Here’s how you can read about our adventure:
✨ Paperback (one language only)
Currently, you can read our story in English (ISBN 978-3-912151-00-8) or German (ISBN 978-3-912151-02-2) –
perfect for bedtime, reading corners, or cozy couch days with your grown-ups.
🛒 Available on Amazon (worldwide) and as e-books on:
📱 Google Books | Apple Books | Amazon Kindle | and more!
🌍 Hardcover (two languages!)
There are bilingual editions in a beautiful hardcover version
You can choose between:
💬 English–Amharic (ISBN 978-3-912151-06-0)
💬 German–Amharic (ISBN 978-3-912151-04-6)
💬 German–English (ISBN 978-3-912151-05-3)
So whether you say “Hello!” or “Selam!” or “Hallo!” — we’ve got you covered! 💛
Hopefully coming Soon to Ethiopia!
Right now, our creators Manuela Sessler and Gabriel Tesfaye are working on getting our book printed right here in Ethiopia — so local families can find it too! If you have contacts to printing agencies we’d be happy to hear and check out collaboration opportunities.
And guess what? An Amharic-only version is also on the way! 🎈
